Code of conduct

A requirement for participation on DALEXS tours is that the Code of Conduct is adhered to. We are guests in the areas we visit and are careful to show respect for road managers, local residents, people and animals along the roads we travel on. DALEXS tours should be a positive experience for both participants and local residents.

DALEXS works to build a sustainable culture where motorcyclists are welcomed by the outside world and where beginners are taught the unwritten rules of how to behave on motorcycle tours. In the event of repeated deviations from the Code of Conduct, the guide has the right to terminate continued participation.

Upon arrival at DALEXS tours, participants sign the Code of Conduct. At the Code of Conduct, we also appreciate that contact information for relatives is provided and any hidden illness or condition that is important for your safety that the guides are aware of in the event of an accident. Signed Codes of Conduct are destroyed after the activity is completed.

  • I do not perform hard throttle presses that leave tracks and noise and am extra careful with soft road surfaces.
  • I respect the Off-Road Driving Act.
  • I pass people, farms and animals at low speed.
  • I know that this is not a competition.
  • I follow the instructions in the roadbook or the guide’s instructions for my own safety and the safety of those around me.
  • I do not drive a vehicle drunk or under the influence.
  • I participate on a motorcycle that I am legally allowed to drive and follow applicable traffic regulations.
  • I help create a good atmosphere and offer a helping hand when needed.
  • I do not ride beyond my ability, do not interfere with inside curves or expose others to danger.
  • I accept that participation is at my own risk.

DALEXS philosophy

Creating a route to ride can be done by many, but creating a complete experience with cohesion and added value that you remember with warmth, that is what we strive to create.

The Code of Conduct is the foundation of our activities and it describes how we behave on tour. In short, the Code of Conduct describes how we respect the roads we travel on and the residents in the areas where we move. We want to leave the smallest possible footprint behind us to create a sustainable motorcycle culture on the gravel roads.

Our strength is that you as a participant feel safe both socially and while driving.

The experience should be developing and exciting, so we continuously read the needs of the participants and adapt continuously so that everyone gets the level of excitement that is needed but without exceeding the level.

A non-prestige atmosphere is the key to interesting conversations and honest feedback. We have no need to show off, we want to meet you and create a nice experience.

When the participant rolls home after the tour, it should be with a smile from a nice experience and with new acquaintances, then we have succeeded!
